No. You Don't Get a Title Today. You Know What You Did.

Guess who just got a cold? No, not you. Me. This blog isn't about you. I'm in Day 2. Late Saturday night was when I got the sore throat which lasted through Sunday. Today, that's mostly gone and now I just have a stuffy nose. Both my parents have been sick for the good part of a week now and I guess I should have seen it coming. I'm drinking Vernors by the gallon and I'm also using some cold medicine called, Zicam. It does actually work somewhat, it just leaves a pretty horrible taste in your mouth. Yuck.

So I was doing some driving late Friday night and guess what I so happen to hit with my vehicle? (By accident I assure you). No, not a homeless person. A raccoon. Yeah, the first time I ever ran any (living) thing over. It was just sitting in the middle of the road with its other raccoon friends. Hey, I tried to dodge it. Stupid raccoon. I felt awful the rest of the night. Ok, for about 20 minutes after. Still.

Well, I'm close to 300 words so I'm definitely gonna update this baby later tonight.

Some music:

Not sure why I like her music so much, I just kinda do. I was actually thinking of putting Stone Temple Pilots - Plush (accoustic) up, but I saw it was already posted on someone elses blog. Another good song...Well now that my masculinity is in question I think I should split. I'll put some Metallica or Tool up tomorrow. Now, I guess I'll go write my paper which I haven't started yet. Oh yeah.

Update: For anyone who has HBO there's a pretty funny new (new?) show on. It's called Bored to Death and it stars comedian  Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson, and Zach Galifianakas, you know that guy from Hangover. He got popular fast. And that is 300 words. Right, the paper.

Update II: It's 10:28pm. and I finally understand the assignment. Seriously. I've been struggling with it for two days now and it's so simple. All we're doing is writing a story. You know, I'm a junior now, and I can't think of ever being assigned to simply write a story before. Sad I know, but they've pretty much all been general papers, research, philosophical, whatever.  Huh.

  1. Glad to see I'm not the only one who guzzles Vernors when I'm feeling under the weather.

  2. Hey Robert, sorry to hear you're sick, lots of crud going around this time of year. I like Vernors year round. I'm enjoying this class, it's great to be asked to write something other than academic papers. You're the business major, right?
Guess this class is really off the charts then, eh?
